“GET A GROM!” as youtuber Gromie Bear says all the time. He’s not wrong though, Honda’s 125cc machine is one of the most fun bikes to ride. Contrary to what seems like popular belief, this is not a kid’s bike. This is a dank nooner machine. Despite topping out at around 60mph, this 4 geared bike is an incredible commuter bike, getting over 100 miles per gallon. Plus, it’s not super loud, so none of the old people will call the cops on you for your loud exhaust when you head to work.
It’s also a very fun bike, even if you aren’t commuting. It’s very easily to learn wheelies on it (which is one of my weak points as a rider. It’s like the viagra to your wheelie dysfunction, you can learn on this and move up to bigger bikes. The best part is, there’s no way you’re accidentally doing a power wheelie on this, you’re actually yanking it up. Just keep it on the road (wink wink cough cough).
And hey, there’s tons of upgrades you can get to these if you fall in love with it (which you will). From upgraded exhausts to hand brakes for wheelies to custom wraps, you can customize yours however you want, and with such a low entry cost you won’t destroy your bank account either like our stretched swingarm Gixxer “friends”.
